Our Reclaimed Cashmere collection creates something new from what already exists, shaped by a desire to honour our heritage while designing responsibly for the future. At our Scottish mills, where craftsmanship has been refined for generations, we have introduced recycled fibres into our process with the same care and precision we give to every piece of pure cashmere. 

 
The result is a small, considered capsule of scarves and blankets, crafted in neutral colourways, each one soft, warm and unmistakably Johnstons of Elgin. Pieces like the Recycled Cashmere Scarf in Natural and the Recycled Cashmere Blanket in Silver Bannockbane carry the familiar comfort of cashmere, but with a new story woven into their fibres.

Using cashmere fibres that have been recovered and reprocessed at our mill - sorted, cleaned, gently re‑spun, and blended with virgin fibres. It is a process that requires skill, patience and a deep understanding of the material.
