Family owned. Family run. Family values.
‘Johnstons of Elgin now employs over 1,000 people across both our Scottish mills and offices worldwide. We take tremendous pride in the fact that generations of families have built their careers here, sometimes with three generations of the same family employed at the same time.
Some of our employees have more than 50 years of service, and our commitment to our people is our pledge to the future. We offer apprenticeships to people of all ages, giveback to and support our communities and, as we have always done, we will continue to invest in fortifying Johnstons’ greatest assets: our people.’

Our Recruitment Process
When you apply for one of our vacancies, you’ll receive an email acknowledging your application and asking for consent to hold your
information.
Our team will then review your application and be in touch if we have any immediate questions.
If you’re invited to interview, you’ll typically meet a representative from the hiring department and an HR Advisor. The interview is an opportunity for us to learn about your skills, experience, and potential - and for you to ask the questions that matter most to you.
For some roles, we may also arrange a short work trial within the department. This gives you a real feel for the role and the working environment.
At Johnstons of Elgin, we see recruitment as a two-way process. We’ll always welcome your feedback, whatever the outcome.
