Collection: Introducing Winter
For Winter 2025, we trace the red thread of craft and trade that connects Scotland and Japan. From Tokyo’s urban rhythm to the timeless craft of our Elgin mill, to the highland forests of Hokkaido, our collection celebrates heritage, artistry, and design.
We journey to Tokyo, paying tribute to our long-standing trading ties with Japan that stretch back to the 19th century. Inspired by our archives, this season continues the story that began when Scottish plaids and tweeds first travelled to Japan as it reopened to Western trade.
Shot on location, the campaign brings our heritage into the present day, capturing the quiet energy of the city’s urban streetscapes. Rich textures and timeless checks pair with contemporary silhouettes, reflecting the enduring dialogue between Scotland’s craft and Japan’s considered design.
