Captured on location here in Scotland, the pieces sit within the kind of moments that shaped the collection – the warmth of time with friends, the ease of traipsing hills in tweed and cashmere, weekends away, and the artful mix of modern edge and old masters. These Scottish moments form the heart of the collection, pieces drawn from the traditions and materials of our home, and archive, crafted in cashmere and wool, refined through the knowledge of our designers and in-house atelier, and rooted in the heritage that has defined us for over two centuries.
Inspired by the work of Wilhelmina Barns-Graham, the Scottish draftswoman, painter, and colourist known for her clarity of line and instinctive use of controlled intensity. The palette leads with contemporary neutrals and pared-back classics, stone, slate, and natural ecru, punctuated by sharp shots of industrial red and painterly blue. Diffused vintage pink, mint, and a flash of gorse yellow bring contrast and lift. The colours feel lived-in rather than seasonal, reflecting the shifting light and character of Scotland.
Craft sits at the centre of everything we make, and this collection builds on the full breadth of what makes us unique: we dye, spin, weave, and knit across two mills in Scotland.
For this collection, our craft advances in careful steps: silhouettes refined through weight, texture, tension, and proportion; colour engineered in the dyehouse with new twists, mélanges, and shaded blends; cashmere scarves lightened and given raised herringbone detailing; checks and tartans expanded into sharper, more contemporary forms.
Alongside our mills, our Elgin atelier continues to shape our ready-to-wear pieces, pattern cutting, hand-finishing, and elevating each garment with precision. It’s a rare combination: traditional craft, contemporary engineering, and tailoring knowledge held in one place.
